Fred has vast experience which started at the age of 16 whilst learning to water ski on a lake in the USA.  Fred progressed from waterskiing and found his passion for boating, joined the Cotswold Power Boat Racing Club and began a very successful career around the world in Power Boat Racing, starting off in Formula II and moving up to Formula I circuit racing, driving at speeds of over 100mph and becoming one of the world´s top power boat drivers, winning many European titles throughout the 1970´s, until he decided to leave at the top of his career in 1979.  During this time he learnt many valuable skills in boat and hull design as well as the mechanics of boating, having spent many hours streamlining his boat, tweaking the engines and refining the propellers to get the best performance possible.  Alongside his racing he also ran a boating business in Bristol for some years, and later his own international transport company.

In the 80`s Fred purchased a 1924 65ft. twin screw diesel ketch-rigged yacht and for several years ran charter and a beach sports business (waterskiing, parascending, windsurfing, jetski hire) in some of the top resorts in the Mediterranean.

In 1994 Fred moved with his family to Spain, and set up a service company in Alicante province, and after two or three years, moved to Benalmadena and began his own yacht broking company.
